I ordered this pet bed with midwest dog crate. This is a perfect bed for the crate and pretty well built. The price you pay is 30% less than what you will pay at the store for the same kinda bed. It’s machine washable.

I own a Medium size Petmate Kennel Cab pet carrier that I use for transporting my cat. When I transport my cat, he is very nervous and I feel bad making him sit on the cold plastic floor of the pet carrier. Originally I used to just place a towel in the bottom of the pet carrier so he would have something comforting to sit on. However, during the transport, the towel usually moves and ends up in a ball next to my cat. I purchased the Fleece 22″x13″ Midwest Quiet Time Pet Bed to use in my pet carrier instead of a towel. The 22″x13″ size pet bed is a perfect fit for the Medium size Petmate Kennel Cab pet carrier I own. In fact, the pet bed fits so perfectly that I suspect that the 22″x13″ size bed was specifically made to fit in my model of pet carrier. This pet bed works great in my pet carrier! It completely fills the interior floor of the pet carrier so it does not move or shift when I transport my cat. When I am not transporting my cat, I place the pet bed on my couch for my cat to sleep in. My cat loves this pet bed. My cat gets really nervous when I transport him. He seems to be much less nervous now when I transport him because his every day pet bed travels with him in the pet carrier. I highly recommend these pet beds for cats. They wash well and last for years!

I bought the 24×18″ fleece bed for my cats to put on top of the kadaku pet cot. Kakadu Pet Cot Pet Bed, Small, 24″ x 18″ x 7″, Marine My 2 elderly cats (age 15 years) LOVE it! Even though it’s machine washable, I put a zippered quilted pillow sham on the bed to cut down on the washings. That way I can just remove the sham and wash it without wearing out the bed itself. Because my cats love this combination so much, I ordered another set so they could each have their own beds. They love to rest their heads on the bolster, so cute!

I have a 3 yr old Golden rescue that sleeps in a 42 x 26 inch wire crate. I made a 1 inch memory foam mat for his crate & covered it with a twin sheet. He needed a bit more cushioning than the 1 inch memory foam. I was afraid with his weight, he was going to “bottom out” and feel the hard plastic pan surface under the memory foam etc. Plus he sleeps on his side and needed some cushion for his back against the wire sides of the crate. This mat is perfect !!! It gives him just the right surface without being too squishy/soft and yet is supportive & he has the bolster against his back when he sleeps. I swear I could see him smile when he first laid down on this configuration. Works for him, works for me !!! And the price was right too !

As an aside, I vacuumed this mat first, then tossed it in the dryer on air only to collect any residual “fuzz”. Next I washed it in my front loader washing machine and then dried it on low/delicate. So far no shedding at all and it seems to be holding up well too. He is NOT a chewer, thank goodness or I fear this mat would not last etc.

Fits cage nicely and the rim around the edges is the same height as the lower lip of the cage. We have used it for a month now for our 50 lbs Pit–mix for night sleeping only. The only complaint is that the fleece is coming out in small patches when she gets out in the morning. Its almost as like the fleece is rolling into balls and separating as she moves about. Maybe a washing will help remove the excess. Not much padding on the bottom, which would help with insulation. All in all, its fine.
