This product works great. It took a while to bury the wire but it was worth it. If I bought Innotek again, I would get the underground fence WITH the dog trainer remote included. As far as the delivery goes, the company was quick and efficient :)

I got the SD 2100 and set it up. It showed a solid yellow light (not blinking-as the book says could happen). And I called the 1-800 number and expected to troubleshoot all day before expecting defeat. Instead after the second call I got a service person that gave me a order# and said I would get a new system in 2-7 days!! Excellent. No arguement and no waste of my time trying out a million different options. It seems the wall transmitter may not be functioning well. I don’t mind getting a defective system, I just don’t want to have to fight to get it replaced. Thank you Innotek!

    From,

    Happy New Beagle Owner.

We laid this fence out over our 1/2 acre property and use anchor pins to hold it down. Digging a trench would be ideal but, we chose not to do that yet. Do not think you can just put it down and then place the collar on your dog and you’re done. Make sure you really think out the layout first, we enclosed our whole lot and are now hoping our Spaniel will understand that he CAN go over the barrier when he is on a leash with us but, not at any other time. Could be confusing for him and a problem too. I think it would have been better to have him only have the back yard for free running. No we have about 4 weeks of training to make she he understands the system. Having a regular fence installed would have been much easier but, a lot more expensive of course. Also, both won’t work for us in the winter once we get our usual 5+ feet of snow.

We have a 7 month old puppy, it took my husband & I about 4 hours to install the fence (in the woods we did not bury it, just stapled it down) and within 2 weeks our dog is completely trained! Love it & would recommend it to anyone!

I installed it for about 6 month now, it works great. The installation took about half day. Using it for three little dogs (had to buy two more receivers), followed the instruction and they learned very fast. The only thing is that I wish it comes with longer wire. I have an average size yard, and it was about 30 feet short, so I had to go buy a whole extra roll from local pet store.
