    When its charged it works great and has really helped with the nuisance barking. The only problem is that you cannot tell when it needs to be recharged as the light stays off even after its fully charged.

    We rescued a very stubborn mutt (looks and acts like a black Lab) who started barking too much when visiting the dog park. I bought this but put it on too loosely at the start. Once I started really tightening it and she started really feeling the shocks, the barking stopped.

    Twice in the last week I forgot the collar and she still didn’t bark. She has developed a low growl that indicates her displeasure but neither sets off the collar nor disturbs other patrons of the dog park so this item, when properly used, has worked perfectly for me.

    I placed this collar on my dog it took several barks from him then all of a sudden he yelped really loud and all 4 paws left the ground, he leaped about a foot into the air. I instantly removed the collar and had to calm him down. I never put it on him again this is not the way to train a dog it’s cruelty. I felt so bad I did this to him. I sure wouldn’t want 2 prongs sticking in my neck shocking me.

    I would not buy this product again. You can NOT turn it off so; it looses the charge way too fast AND once you have had it on the dog they will never let you put it on again because it is zapping while you are trying to put it on. So you can never get it back on. Very bad product design.

    DIDN’T TAKE LONG FOR MY JACK RUSSELL TO FIGURE OUT THAT THIS COLLAR MEANS QUIET TIME. RECHARGEABLE BATTERY A REAL PLUS.
