Safe Puppy Toys

Most puppies will play with anything within their reach, things that are not always safe, so it is important to give them their own puppy toys, even if you have another dog – a large choice is not necessary but getting different styles of safe puppy toys is a good idea.

Dog trainers do not believe that a puppy should have too many puppy toys all together – they maintain that it is better to have different kinds of toys and change them around every few days so as to keep up your pup’s attention – it will soon become obvious which are their favourites.

Chew puppy toys should always be on hand, especially when your pup starts teething otherwise chewing on something else in the room will almost certainly happen!  Puppy toys that are educational will help your puppy develop co-ordination and those that also afford exercise will help your puppy get their balance.

One of the best, safe puppy toys is the PetQwerks talking babble ball – it is an interactive puppy/dog toy which is extremely tough.  The babble balls roll easily and talk with the slightest movement – even the vibration from walking across the floor can push the talking dog ball into a sudden little laugh!  The safe puppy toys are available in 3 sizes, all made in bright primary colours to grab your pup’s attention – the small size would suit small/medium sized puppies and the medium size for larger breeds.  These robust toys are also very safe, having no small parts and the replaceable batteries are internally screwed in.  If your puppy is a strong chewer, the product maker recommends placing the talking ball inside a thick sock and tying it in firmly.  These fun, safe interactive puppy toys will help your puppy use up a lot of energy, running around after the talking toy and trying to get hold of it – it is very amusing to watch!
